Well, last Thursday was frightful. I had a gallbladder attack, though, when I woke up at four in the morning vomiting, I had no idea what it was. My stomach hurt so bad that I just wanted to die. No joke. I went to the school's health center and they sent me to the emergency room of a hospital. After several hours and some morphine, I find out that everything points to me being healthy. Then I got a cat scan done and found out that I had a gallbladder attack. They don't know if it's gallstones or just the gallbladder not functioning properly, at this point in time. They just told me that it was surrounded by fluid and was inflamed.

Everyone keeps asking me if I'm a bit young to be having these problems. Get off my back! I eat pretty healthy for the most part. The fact of the matter is it's hereditary, so it's not like genes wait and say 'oh now that you're forty I'm going to strike you with the same thing that your mother had'. I wish people weren't so stupid. I know I'm young. I cannot help the fact that it's hereditary.

Probably doesn't help that I'm 21 and I look about 16. Looking young runs in our family and while that normally is a good thing, I think it causes people to take me less seriously sometimes than they should which frustrates me. It's probably why so many of my mother's friends are asking me if I'm a bit young to be having these problems. It doesn't stop that from being annoying, however.
